I began playing hockey when I was just 4 years old. For the first three years, I switched between forward and defense, but preferred to be closer to the net. Even diving after pucks at time in only my skater gear. At age 7, I started to play goalie. Within my youth career I played with a multitude of different organizations, being thrown around like a spare. In 2023, I traveled to Europe to play hockey. I participated in a training camp and then played in a tournament with Northern Lights Hockey. I played 20 minutes in 4 different games, taking a total of 100 shots and letting in 8. My team played against Olympic and National players. We ultimately didn't come out on top, but it was a great learning experience for all of us. I played 4 years of high school hockey and graduate in 2025. I made the personal decision to not play college hockey despite being given multiple offers to different schools. My goal at NZG is to better goalies and help them feel at home. Every goalie is welcome as who they are and will never feel like they don't belong at NZG.
